3 Alarm Fire At 4324 4th Ave In Brooklyn

Brooklyn - A three-alarm fire damaged a building in Sunset Park Sunday afternoon.

The fire occurred at Tacos El Bronco on 4th Avenue and 43rd Street.

Officials say the electrical fire began around 5:45 p.m. in the basement of the building, and quickly spread to the top two floors where residents live.

More than 100 firefighters responded to the blaze, which took about an hour and a half to control.

Authorities say the damage is severe, and that some residents on the tops floors will be displaced.

Fire officials say that one firefighter and two children who were eating in the restaurant were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries.
The Red Cross says it is working to help seven families who were affected by the fire
