MVA With Multi Injuries And Entrapment On NY 17

Wurtsboro - Multiple emergency agencies were operaiting on scene Thursday night of a two vehicle collision on the NY 17 in the area of Exit 113. 

Paramedics on scene requested two chopppers to transport two seriously injured passengers. The landing zone was on the Rt-17, Both patients were airlifted to Albany Medical Center. 

4 other patients were transported by ground to Orange Regional medical center in stable condition. 

It took close to 45 minutes for the Wurtsboro & Rock Hill FD's to extricate one of the victims that was heavily pinned in the minivan. 

NYSP is cunducting an investigation.
