Elderly Man Critically Hurt In Hit-n-Run In Brooklyn

Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. A 72 year old man was critically injured Monday night after he was struck by a Hit-n-run driver.

The incident happened at 6th Avenue & Bay Ridge Avenue in Brooklyn, when the elderly pedestrian was crossing 6th Ave he was struck by a grey Mercedes sedan at around 10:00pm.

The victim was taken to Lutheran hospital in critical condition, the driver fled the scene and was still on the loose early Tuesday.

NYPD Collision Investigation Squad was on scene investigating the crash.

Kamel Mahmoud from Bay Ridge died on Feb 20, 5 days after the crash.
