2nd Alarm Fire On West 6th St In Brooklyn
Gravesend - Firefighters filled the streets of West 6th Street Saturday night in response to a fire that ripped through a house between Avenue T and Avenue U.
Danny Glover, an FDNY firefighter and spokesman for the department, said that there was no indication whether or not people were in the building, but first responders at the site Sunday said people were home but evacuated safely.
The call for the three-story brick building located at 2043 West 6th Street first came in at 12:48 a.m. and it was under control by 1:38 a.m.
