Driver Arrested After Overturn & Pedestrian Struck In Williamsburg




Williamsburg - Emergency personnel responded to the scene Saturday afternoon of an overturned vehicle at Marcy Avenue and Penn street.

A vehicle passed the light and hit a car that caused it should overturn, the 2nd car hit a pole and a pedestrian.

Hatzolah transported the pedestrian that was hit and the driver from the second car. patients were transported to the hospital in serious but not likely (to die) condition.

The driver 
of the first car that passed the light fled the scene he was chased by bystanders, after a pursuit he was held down until Police arrested him for suspended license and driving under the influence of alcohol.


ESU was requested to upright the car.
