Rockland County Fire Dept Flooded With Calls

Rockland County - Fire departments all over the county are currently responding to all types of weather related calls, most of them for wires and electric poles down.


We are monitoring the 44-control frequency along as watching the Rockland County firewatch CAD (Computer Aided Dispatcher).

A screen shot of the CAD shows half of the open calls in the county at this time.


Orange & Rockland utility company can't provide an estimate time of arrival to any call, due to the high volume of calls.
