Brooklyn. Multiple people were injured when an MTA bus was involved in a collision near East Flatbush Tuesday around 6:30pm, including a pedestrian.

The driver of the bus reportedly suffered a medical episode when it lost control of the bus while driving on East New York at Rockaway Parkway, first taking down a light pole, then continuing on to struck a pedestrian at the corner of East 98 St then onto the next block where it hit multiple parked cars and while swerving into the opposite lane hitting a occupied driving vehicle.

And finally coming to a stop at the corner of Ralph Avenue, two blocks from it started.

Officials say at least eight people were being treated for minor injuries. Nobody suffered life threatening injuries, the NYPD said.

The NYPD's Collision Investigation Squad and MTA investigators can be seen investigating the incident.
