Bensonhurst - Eight people were injured, including seven firefighters, after a fire that started in a garage where flammables were stored spread to two homes in Brooklyn on Friday afternoon.

2nd Alarm Fire On West 6th St In Brooklyn

Gravesend - Firefighters filled the streets of West 6th Street Saturday night in response to a fire that ripped through a house between Avenue T and Avenue U.

Danny Glover, an FDNY firefighter and spokesman for the department, said that there was no indication whether or not people were in the building, but first responders at the site Sunday said people were home but evacuated safely.
