Bronx Gas Station Worker Killed After Week On Job

A 28-year-old gas station attendant who co-workers say was on the job for only a week was shot dead in the Bronx during what police say was an attempted robbery Tuesday night.

Police responded to a 911 call reporting a man shot near East 182 Street and Southern Boulevard shortly before 10 p.m. and found the man with several gunshot wounds to the torso.
