Brooklyn Bridge Climber In Custody



BROOKLYN, New York -- A despondent man who threatened to jump after scaling to the top of the Brooklyn Bridge was rescued Friday afternoon, authorities say.
Members of the NYPD Emergency Service Unit climbed to the top of the Manhattan stanchion of the bridge and rescued the man.

EDP Sets Himself On Fire In Willimsburg


Williamsburg - The FDNY was called to the scene of a reported fire at 256 Heyward Street Thursday afternoon.

Upon arriving, they requested the NYPD SOD for an EDP that barricaded himself on the 2nd floor of the 4 story building and attempted to st the house on fire.

NYPD ESU And HNT Rescue Man From The VZ Bridge


A man that threatened to jump from the Verrazano Bridge monday afternoon, caused heavy delays on one side of the bridge and a total block on the other bound.

The NYPD ESU and the hostage nagotioation team (HNT), as well as a Cantonese-speaking officer rescue the man off the edge of the bridge at about 16:45 hours.

Suicidal EDP



Spring ValleyA suicidal emotionally disturbed man (EDP) barricaded himself in his home, armed himself  with weapons, and refused to surrender to police, Tuesday morning. Ramapo Police responded to the home, located on Orchard Street in Spring Valley. Police Detectives along with Spring Hill Ambulance and RPS were called to the scene as well. After some time, the man came out and was taken into custody without further incident. He was transported to Good Sam Hospital
